On November 22, 2024 at 7:00 pm, the first performance of Four Impressions based on Wojciech Siudmak by Magdalena Cynk for string orchestra will take place at the Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic Hall in Zielona Góra.

The composition was created as part of the “Composer Comissions” program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. Impression, inspired by the work of painter and sculptor Wojciech Siudmak, reflects the dialogue between visual arts and music. The composer used appropriate sound symbolism to convey specific pictorial content, movement, character, light and mood, and even a certain story....
The concert program also included W.A. Mozart's Symphonie concertante for wind instruments with orchestra KV 297b. and Symphony in G Major “Surprise ” No. 94 by J. Haydn. The soloists will be Michal Mogila (oboe), Bronislaw Krzystek (clarinet), Adam Meczywór (bassoon) and Adam Golemberski (French horn).
