"Musique est une femme" competition: Internet users can now vote for the best video on stereotypes about women composers!

TAK

Very inspiring and diverse films were submitted by candidates from various parts of Europe to the "Musique est une femme" competition. The competition is part of the European project of the same name co-financed by the Creative Europe programme and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The project leader is the TAK Foundation.

The subject of the Competition was broad: it could have been a reflection on the stereotypes about the creative abilities of women, a personal discovery of music by composers who were active before the first half of the 20th century, or a presentation of interesting details of their biography. The video could be in the form of a meme or a more serious one. The highest prize of € 650 will be awarded by internet users to the work that addresses the subject of the Competition in the most interesting way.

You can vote for the submitted works until 27 Septmber 2020 at: https://fundacjatak.pl/en/musique-est-une-femme/

Other partners of the project are Handelsbeurs Concert Hall (Belgium), Molyvos International Music Festival (Greece), Cesis Concert Hall (Latvia) and additionally, in Poland, the New Chamber Orchestra Foundation and the Meakultura Foundation.

Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.
