The 13th International Competition for Young Pianists "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam"

The 13th International Competition for Young Pianists "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam" will be held at the Artur Rubinstein State Music School Complex in Bydgoszcz on October 22-28, 2024. The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities born no earlier than January 1, 2002. The deadline for submitting applications is September 10.

The competition auditions, consisting of two stages and a final, will take place in front of the audience. The obligatory program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Karol Szymanowski, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Domenico Scarlatti, Ludwig van Beethoven and Fryderyk Chopin.

Six statutory prizes are expected to be awarded: 1st prize - PLN 30,000, 2nd prize - PLN 15,000, 3rd prize - PLN 9,000, 4th prize - PLN 8,000, 5th prize - PLN 6,000, 6th prize - PLN 4,000 - and also the Special Prize (PLN 4,000) for the best performance of a work by Karol Szymanowski and the Chopin Prize (PLN 5,000).

The organizers are: Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Center for Artistic Education, Artur Rubinstein State Music School Complex in Bydgoszcz, Mozart Society in Bydgoszcz.
