The National Institute of Music and Dance has been bringing classical music concerts to residents of small Polish towns and villages for years. As part of the project "With Classics Across Poland," violinist Jakub Jakowicz and pianist Łukasz Chrzęszczyk will embark on a concert tour in the Lubusz Voivodeship. From March 27-29, 2025, they will perform at the Cultural Center in Żółkiewka, the Dwór Sztuki in Siennica Różana, and the Municipal Cultural Center in Markuszów.
This tour will give the public in these smaller towns a unique opportunity to hear live performances by renowned artists and experience the greatest masterpieces of chamber music.
The lecturers from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music will perform Artur Malawski's Mazurka, Henryk Wieniawski’s Fantasia on Themes from Gounod's Opera Faust, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki’s Little Fantasy, the Dance from the ballet Harnasie by Karol Szymanowski in Paweł Kochański's arrangement, and Johannes Brahms' Sonata in A major, Op. 100.
