Nanosounds workshops for children with disabilities

On July 15, 2024, "Nanosounds" take off - special workshops on creating graphic scores and basic piano playing, led by pianist and teacher - Emilia Karolina Sitarz. They are dedicated to children with disabilities and will take place in the Open House at Radzymińska 123 in Warsaw.

This is a place with the so-called cross-adjustment for people with disabilities. Workshop participants will be supervised by guardians, volunteers and parents. The participants will be divided into several groups:

  • July 15-18 – workshops for teenagers with autism spectrum disorder / cooperation with the Giganci Foundation (group of 6 people)
  • July 19-22 – workshops for young people with multiple disabilities / cooperation with the Akacja Foundation (group of 8 people)
  • July 23-26 – workshops for children with autism spectrum disorder and with cerebral palsy.

After completing the workshops, participants will visit one of the recording studios in Warsaw at the turn of August and September. They will take part in recording an album with their own compositions there.

The album premiere and a gala concert will take place at the "Świt" Cultural Center in October. They will be accompanied by a special opening of Ania Kłosek's photographs at the Arteneum Art Gallery.

The project is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw.
