Marczak Katarzyna "Kaja. Biography of Kaja Danczowska"
Katarzyna Marczak's monograph is devoted to Kaja Danczowska - an outstanding Polish violinist, winner of international competitions. It shows her path to fame, spectacular successes and hard work. Based on previously unknown sources, the author also discovers the secrets of Danczowska's private life.
She quotes extremely interesting fragments of the violinist's rich and colorful correspondence, which are also a picture of musical life in the second half of the 20th century.
